Our wooden blocks are specifically designed for traditional boats. Its are commonly called "Havraise blocks". Its are ash, copper riveted. The sheave is Céloron, the handle and shaft are in stainless steel. This blocks are supplied raw, without varnish or linseed oil. 

They are fully removable very easily. Just drive the axis in stainless steel out of the center and the toothed portion first. Then exit the sheave and finally remove the ense stainless steel. To reassemble them, do the operation in reverse.
